TEMPE, Ariz.- Arizona State (7-3) upset No. 7 Ohio State (6-4) by a score of 4-1, outpacing the Buckeyes in doubles and singles. With Sunday’s victory, the Sun Devils avenged their January 27 defeat, when both teams met in the ITA Kickoff Weekend Tournament.

“We knew we were going to go there for the Kickoff Weekend,” ASU head coach Sheila Mclnerney said. “We lost to them. And then to get them at home, it makes a big difference. Obviously, they play better at home and we play better at home. So our girls were waiting for this match.I think it was super important and I’m really happy for them.”
