2023 ACC Women's Tennis Championship Field Set


GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina notched the top seed for the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis Championship, which kicks off Wednesday, April 19 at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina. 
 
The top four seeds earn double byes into the Friday quarterfinals. North Carolina, No. 2 Duke, No. 3 NC State and No. 4 Virginia each picked up double byes.
 
The tournament starts at 10 a.m. Wednesday with a first-round match between No. 12 Clemson and No. 13 Virginia Tech, followed by No. 11 Boston College facing No. 14 Louisville at 12:30 p.m.
 
Second-round action will be held Thursday, starting at 10 a.m. with No. 8 Notre Dame versus No. 9 Wake Forest and No. 5 Miami playing the Clemson-Virginia Tech winner. At 12:30 p.m., No. 7 Georgia Tech takes on No. 10 Syracuse and No. 6 Florida State faces off with the Boston College-Louisville winner.
 
The quarterfinals start at 10 a.m. Friday with top-seeded North Carolina facing off with the Notre Dame-Wake Forest winner and No. 4 Virginia battling Clemson, Miami or Virginia Tech. The 12:30 p.m. quarterfinals feature No. 2 Duke playing the Georgia Tech-Syracuse winner and No. 3 NC State battling Boston College, Florida State or Louisville.
 
Both the semifinals Saturday along with the championship match Sunday are slated for 10 a.m. The Saturday semifinal match featuring the highest remaining seed and the Sunday championship match will broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.
 
Single day tickets are priced at $10 for adults (ages 18 and older; children under 9 and ACC students get in free with school ID) and $7 for youth ages 17 and under. A full Championship pass for all five days is priced at $25. Tickets may be purchased online at https://www.etix.com/ticket/v/11254. All seating for the tournament is General Admission.
