Women’s Tennis Signs Two In 2024 Class – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Women’s Tennis and Head Coach Boomer Saia announced two signees, Artemis Aslanisvili and Amélie Šmejkalová to the fall of 2024 class.

It is the first signing class for Saia, who is in his first season as Clemson’s Head Coach. 

The class comprises of two international students: Aslanisvili, the No. 1-ranked athlete in Greece, and Šmejkalová, the 30th-ITF-ranked junior in the world. Both are set to join the team in August 2024.

“We are beyond excited for Ami and Artemis to join our program,” said Saia. “Both are extremely hungry and driven tennis players that will come in and make immediate impacts on our team. We believe both players have their best tennis ahead of them, and we can’t wait for them to join the Tiger Tennis family!”
