Tennis Falls at Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio — No. 73 Rutgers women’s tennis (10-8, 1-6 B1G) fell to No. 12 Ohio State (12-6, 5-1 B1G), 4-0, on Sunday afternoon at Auer Tennis Complex.
 
Doubles
 
Ohio State clinched the doubles point with wins on the first and second courts.
 
Singles
 
The Buckeyes were then able to clinch the match with three-straight singles wins on courts No. 2, 3, and 6.
 
Yana Gurevich was in the middle of a strong singles outing at the conclusion of play. The graduate student picked up a first-set win over #118 Sydni Ratliff, 7-6(4), and was narrowly down in the second set, 1-2.
 
Minchae Kim was also in a tight match at the end of the dual. After dropping the first set, 3-6, the junior was up, 5-4, in the second set with OSU’s no. 4 singles.
