Sun Devils Advance in Diablos Tennis Tournament


TEMPE – Sun Devil men’s tennis (10-3) swept Liberty (5-7) in singles to defeat the Eagles 4-1 Friday night. No. 31 Arizona State will advance in the Diablos Tennis Tournament, playing against #50 Texas Tech at 1 p.m. MST at Kiwanis Tennis Center in Tempe, Saturday, March 11. 

Murphy Cassone won his doubles match with Jacob Bullard and led the Sun Devils in the singles matches with a two set victory over his opponent.

Pac-12 Men’s Tennis Player of the Week Max McKennon wrapped his court up behind Cassone with a pair of 6-3 wins. Constantinos Koshis put the Sun Devils up 3-1 after a hard fought battle in his sets. 

Roi Ginat sealed the deal for ASU in the third set 6-3.
