Rain Halts NCAA Tennis Quarterfinals – University of South Carolina Athletics

Orlando, Fla. – No. 8 South Carolina men’s tennis was midway through singles matches in their NCAA Quarterfinal match versus No. 1 Texas when play was suspended due to lightning in the area. Rain came later and lasted into the night, forcing play to be suspended for the day.

The match is scheduled to resume on Fri., May 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the USTA National Campus. Later rounds of the tournament have all been pushed back one day with the title match now scheduled to take place on Sunday.

Texas took the doubles point in the dual but no first sets had been completed when play was suspended.
