ORLANDO–The 2nd-ranked Texas A&M women’s tennis team dropped a tight doubles point and was unable to claw its way back in singles as the Aggies fell to 6th-ranked and 7th-seeded Stanford 4-0 Wednesday evening in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships.
A&M, which won its second consecutive SEC Championship last month, saw its season come to an end with a final record of 30-3. The Cardinal, Pac-12 regular season and tournament champs, improve to 26-2.
More to come.
