The Demon Deacons took court three, 6-4, to gain the edge in doubles before the point was clinched in a tight tiebreak on court one. No. 20 Anna Brylin and Brooke Killingsworth faced Tech’s Lee and Kate Sharabura in a back-and-forth battle that came down to a 6-all standstill. The Jackets held match point at 7-6 in the tiebreak, but the Deacons won three of the next four points to clinch the doubles point, 7-6 (9-7).
