AUSTIN – Former Alabama alumna Erin Routliffe won her third WTA doubles title Sunday, at the inaugural ATX Open in Austin, Texas.

Routliffe and partner Aldila Sutjiadi defeated No. 1 seed Nicole Melichar-Martinez and Ellen Perez in the finals in a three-set, 88-minute battle. The former UA standout went 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (8) for the victory.
Prior to her championships match on Sunday, Routliffe and partner Sutjiabi defeated Dalma Galif and Danka Kovinic 6-2, 6-1 in the Round of 16, before following with a 6-4, 2-6, 10-7 win over Charlotte Chavatipon and Sabina Zeynalova in the quarterfinals. The duo recorded a two-set victory (6-2, 6-3) over Anna-Lena Friedsam and Nadiia Kichenok in the semifinals to earn a spot in the finals.
Routliffe also won doubles titles at the WTA tournament in Washington DC in 2022 and Palermo in 2021.
