BOULDER, Colo.- In their final road conference match of the season, No. 31 Sun Devil Women’s Tennis (13-8, 5-4 Pac-12) won their fifth match in a row against No. 75 Colorado (12-7, 1-7 Pac-12) in a 4-0 sweep on Sunday afternoon at the CU Tennis Center.

Sunday’s sweep marked the third consecutive sweep for Arizona State and it was also their third sweep in a row against Colorado.

ASU claimed the doubles point against the Buffaloes, winning matches on courts three and two. First, the duo of Rachel Hanford and Ada Piestrzynska over Colorado’s No. 70-ranked duo Ema Bubalo and Anya Nelson, 6-1. The doubles point was clinched with a win by Giulia Morlet and Sara Svetac against the Buffaloes’ Mila Stanojevic/Elys Ventura, 6-3.
Moving into singles play, the Sun Devils added to their lead as Svetac defeated Colorado’s Betina Tokac 6-1, 6-3. No. 75 Morlet got the second win of the day as she won against No. 117 Aya El Sayed of the Buffaloes, 6-3, 6-4. On court three, Emilija Tverijonate had her team-high 13th win of the season as she won 7-6 (3), 6-1 against Mila Stanojevic to clinch the match and the sweep.
