The tournament is held in honor of Kitty Harrison, head coach of the North Carolina women’s tennis team from 1976 to 1998. Harrison retired after the 1997-98 season as the winningest tennis coach in ACC history in terms of dual-match victories with a 22-year record of 351-224. She was inducted into the North Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame in 2004.
Admission is free all weekend.
