SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah men’s tennis head coach, Roeland Brateanu has officially announced the signing Gonzalo Zeitune are set to join the Utes for the 2024-25 season.
“Gonzalo is a game changer for our program,” Brateanu said. “He has a big game that is conducive to playing high in our lineup and has had an incredible juniors career.”
Zeitune is a Yerba Buena, Argentina native. He has an ITF Ranking of 75 and an ATP Ranking of 1760. He was a South American Champion representing Argentina for U12 and U14. He was als second place at the South American Championships for U16. Zeitune was ranked No. 1 in the country for U14 and U16. He was No. 8 in the world in U14 and ranked No. 2 in South America in U16.
