LOS ANGELES – USC men’s tennis welcomes its newest addition to the program, with the reigning Division III National Champion Tristan Bradley (Chadds Ford, Pa/Bowdoin University), head coach Brett Masi announced Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Bradley signed with the Trojans after completing a near perfect season at Bowdoin. The incoming graduate transfer went 26-2 at the No. 1 position in singles on his way to a Division III National Championship. He wrapped up his Division III career with an ITA Doubles All-American nod (2019-20) and back-to-back NESCAC Player of the Year honors.

“Tristan’s story is going to be one of those that we talk about years from now,” Masi said. “Wins the Division III National Championship and he sends us an email weeks later saying, ‘Hey I really want to go for it now and see about coming to a school like USC.’ I was quick to respond, and we were quick to grab him, because early on I saw a kid that had a lot of positivity and leadership qualities that we are looking for here at USC. hHe meets and checks all those boxes on and off the court. We are just really excited to get him on the court and get him around the guys and see what he can do for us this season.”

Bradley comes to sunny Southern California as the No. 2,287 ranked player in the world. The former four-star recruit out of Unionville HS, should make an immediate impact as he brings a unique prospective from another NCAA Division.

“My experience with Bowdoin Men’s Tennis (BMT) has profoundly shaped my leadership skills, work ethic, and commitment to being a consistently supportive teammate. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to compete in my final year of collegiate tennis at a prestigious program like USC,” Bradley said. “I look forward to bringing the values I’ve learned at Bowdoin to USC, and I am eager to learn and push my new teammates, coaches, and staff as we strive to be our best. Fight on✌️”
