CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis program wrapped up the third and final day of the Wake Forest Invitational as they successfully completed their first fall tournament under new head coach, Brandon Wagner.
“It was a great weekend for the coaches to gauge where our guys are at and the areas of improvement that need to be addressed before our next event. We had some great performances in singles today and were happy for those players to finish the last day of the event that way. Our guys are already looking forward to getting back to work and for the next opportunity to compete,” Wagner said.
Freshman’s Stewart Aronson and Marko Mesarovic earned singles wins for the Tigers, which marked their second wins of the fall season. Aronson secured the win in two sets while Mesarovic earned the win in three.
Up next, the Tigers will compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Ga. starting September 29th.
