Three Trojans Head to SoCal Intercollegiate Championship

Men’s Tennis | September 25, 2024

LOS ANGELES – The work continues for USC men’s tennis this weekend as three Trojans head south to take on the SoCal Intercollegiate Championship from Thursday, Sept. 26 through Sunday, Sept. 29 in San Diego, Calif.

Representing USC will be the team’s three newest members–graduate transfer Tristan Bradley and freshmen Niels Hoffmann and Connor Church–as they come off their explosive debut in Thousand Oaks at the Sherwood Cup last weekend.

In San Diego all three players will enter directly into the singles main draw, kicking off their weekends on Thursday, September 26. In doubles play, all three will start in the qualifying round. Bradley and Hoffman will compete as a team, while Church will play alongside Anthony Weingarten from Kent State.

All three players will look to build on their strong performances from last weekend. Hoffmann led the trio in Thousand Oaks, going undefeated across singles (4-0) and doubles (3-0) play. Church went undefeated in singles (4-0) and dropped just a single match in doubles (3-1), while Bradley went 2-2 in both singles and doubles.

Both singles and doubles play will kick off on Thursday, September 26. To follow along with scores and timing, visit the ITA website here: scores and draws.
