Tennis Release 2023 Fall Slate


PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Head coach of the Rutgers women’s tennis team, Hilary Ritchie has announced the team’s 2023 fall schedule. The Scarlet Knights will compete in seven tournaments from the end of September to the beginning of November.  

RU will open its campaign at the Hall of Fame Invitational which will be held at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island from Sept. 15-17. Rutgers will send two doubles teams to compete.  

From there, the team will head to the Yale Invitational for the second consecutive season. The tournament will span from Sept. 22-24. Those who qualify will hit the road once again, this time to Cary, North Carolina for ITA All-Americans (Sept. 30-Oct. 8). 

The team will stay a bit closer to home for the next three tournaments, starting with a short trip to Columbia for ITA Regionals from Oct. 6-8. Then, from Oct. 13-15, the Scarlet Knights will compete in the Princeton Invitational. To round out the tri-state area tournaments, select members of the RU squad will have the opportunity to travel to Army to compete in ITA Super Regionals from Oct. 20-22.  

Finally, to close out the fall campaign, Rutgers will embark on a road trip to Dartmouth from Nov. 3-5 for the Big Green Tournament.
