Tech outdone by No. 26 Louisville

Louisville, Ky. – Virginia Tech men’s tennis team (7-7, 1-3) fell to No. 26 Louisville on Sunday afternoon, 6-1.

Alvaro Saez-Royeula Ariza and Alberto Orso put together a well-fought performance on Court 2 winning 6-4 to put the Hokies in position for the doubles point but Matt Harper and Frank Thompson were unable to close the gap conceding the doubles point to the Cardinals.

Ryan Fishback collected the lone singles win for Tech to mark his third ranked win of the season topping No. 60 Natan Rodrigues, 6-4, 6-1. The Hokies will look to stop a two match skid hosting a pair of foes from Tobacco Road next weekend.
