GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman Bojana Pozder earned her first weekly Atlantic Coast Conference award for her efforts last week. Pozder finished the week undefeated, winning her singles match and teaming with Page Freeman to earn a pair of doubles victories.
The week started with a match against Georgia Tech inside Eck Tennis Pavilion. Pozder took the court at No. 1 doubles and earned a 6-3 win over Kylie Bilchev and Alejandra Cruz. She added a straight set win at No. 5 (6-3, 6-2) in singles play. Against Clemson, Pozder and Freeman again were victorious with a 6-2 win over Samantha Buyckz and Jenna Thompson.
Pozder and the rest of the Fighting Irish are back in action this weekend as they head to the North Carolina Triangle area, for matches against Duke and North Carolina.
