Northwestern Women’s Tennis Adds Neena Feldman

EVANSTON, Ill. (January 18, 2023) – Northwestern Women’s Tennis Head Coach Claire Pollard announced the addition of Neena Feldman (Beaverton, Ore./Westview) to her 2027 signing class on Wednesday.  Feldman, a native of Beaverton, Ore., joins Autumn Rabjohns in the Class of 2027 for the ‘Cats.

“We are thrilled to add Neena to the squad,” Pollard commented.  “She brings a high level of discipline and a deep love for the game.  She is a thoughtful, intellectual person.  A person of the highest character.  Neena’s best tennis is in the future, and I look forward to talking about her contributions for years to come.”

A three-year letterwinner during her time at Westview High School under the direction of head coach Tom Lefor, Feldman amassed an impressive 38-1 record across her sophomore and junior seasons.

After winning a district title in 2021, Feldman repeated the feat in 2022 before capturing Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) Class 6A Runner-Up honors, helping lead the Wildcats to a State Championship.

Off to a 2-0 start on the young 2023 season, Northwestern is back in action at the Combe Tennis Center on Sunday, January 22 when it hosts No. 20 Vanderbilt.  First serve is slated for 12 p.m.
