The Hurricanes (9-6, 1-4 ACC) not only earned their first conference win on Friday, but also tallied their first win over a ranked opponent this spring, taking down No. 43 Notre Dame (10-8, 1-4 ACC).

The Fighting Irish took an early 1-0 lead after clinching the doubles point with a pair of victories on courts one and three.
