RALEIGH The NC State men’s tennis team will take their act outdoors for the first time this year.
The Wolfpack (5-4) host Elon (5-4) at 4:30 pm on Sunday at the JW Isenhour Tennis Center.
NC State is a perfect 10-0 all-time against the Phoenix.

Last time out: The NC State men’s tennis team picked up a big road win on Super Bowl Sunday, knocking off Princeton, 5-2.
Pack in the rankings: Four members of the NC State tennis team are ranked in the latest ITA poll. Rafa Izquierdo Luque is ranked No. 75 in the singles poll. Luque is also ranked in the doubles at No. 39 with partner Joe Wayand. Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli are ranked No. 50.
Scouting the Phoenix: Gardner-Webb defeated Elon, 6-1, on February 23. The top singles player for the Phoenix is freshman Oskar Antinheimo, who is 6-2 this season. Elon’s top doubles team is the duo of Ben Zipay and Nicholas Condos who enter Sunday’s match at 4-1.
