TEMPE, Ariz. – Giulia Morlet remains perfect at this year’s Thunderbird Invitational.
The junior and Paris, France, native followed up yesterday with an impressive Day 2 on Saturday, as she won both her singles and doubles matches for the second consecutive day.
Morlet, along with junior Marianna Argyrokastriti, cruised for the second straight day in singles play. Sedona Gallagher and Rachel Hanford dropped their first singles contest of the weekend.

Giulia Morlet (ASU) def. Andrea Cerdan (Michigan), 7-5, 6-1
Gala Mesochoritou (Michigan) def. Sedona Gallagher (ASU), 5-7, 6-1, 6-3
Marianna Argyrokastriti (ASU) def. Nicole Hammond (Michigan), 6-3, 6-1
Danielle Willson (Ohio State) def. Rachel Hanford (ASU), 6-2, 3-6, 6-3
Also for the second consecutive day, the Sun Devils split the morning doubles session, as Morlet/Gallagher remain perfect through their first two tests of the tournament.
