Mohr Falls in Second Round

ORLANDO, Fla. Vanderbilt’s No. 24 Celia-Belle Mohr fell in two sets to Auburn’s No. 32 Ariana Arseneault in the second round of the NCAA Singles Championships.

After a hard-fought first set, a weather delay paused the match and moved it indoors. In the second match, Mohr battled and came from behind to keep it close, but Arseneault was able to clinch the match with a 6-4 set victory.

This year marked Mohr’s first season with 30-plus singles wins and her first berth in the NCAA Singles Championships. The French native played at the No. 1 position for the Commodores and defeated 11 nationally ranked players this season.
