Men's Tennis Readies for ITA All-American Action

All seven Gators will compete in the Fall season’s individual championship event.

Florida men’s tennis prepares for action at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships, a nine-day event that opens play on Saturday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. The ITA All-American is the primary national individual tournament for the Fall tennis season.
 

 
The event kicks off with a prequalifying draw, featuring UF’s Borys Zgola in singles action. Six other Gators open singles play in the qualifying draw on Monday, with Nate Bonetto, Jeremy Jin, Magnus Johnson, Aidan Kim, Tanapatt Nirundorn and Olek Olikowski all looking to win their way into the 64-player main singles draw
 
In doubles action, Kim and Nirundorn are set to compete together in the main draw beginning Wednesday, while Bonetto and Jin will open doubles play Monday in the qualifying draw.
 
Main draw action will be streamed via the Cracked Racquets YouTube channel.
 
The Gators’ Ben Shelton captured the ITA All-American singles crown in 2021, winning six matches in five days without dropping a set.
