TEMPE, Ariz. – The UCLA men’s tennis team and six of its student-athletes were honored Monday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), which presented its annual All-Academic Awards. The Bruin squad earned ITA All-Academic Team recognition, while the individuals were tabbed ITA Scholar Athletes.
The All-Academic Team plaudit marked the fourth in a row for the program. Teams that possessed a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or better for the 2022-23 academic year were recognized. ITA Scholar-Athletes are those who held GPAs of 3.5 or above in 2022-23.
Each of UCLA’s six Scholar-Athletes – Gianluca Ballotta, Jeffrey Fradkin, Alexander Hoogmartens, Timothy Li, Giacomo Revelli and Emon van Loben Sels – has made the list every year he has been eligible.
