The bottom of Florida’s lineup shined, as Nate Bonetto, Tanapatt Nirundorn, and Kevin Edengren the Gators’ three points on courts four, five, and six respectively.

The Opponent

The Gamecocks enter Sunday’s Match with an 13-12 overall record and a 4-7 conference record. They are coming off of a 4-1 win over North Carolina A&T. Florida holds a commanding 35-7-1 lead over South Carolina in the all-time series between the two programs. South Carolina took the previous matchup 5-2 on April 16, 2023 in Columbia, S.C.

Florida Gulf Coast holds a 5-13 overall record and a 2-6 conference record. Florida has won both previous matchups with the eagles, the last of which occurred on May 5, 2019.

Senior Day
Florida will recognize graduating senior JanMagnus Johnson in a Senior Day ceremony prior to the 11 a.m. match on Sunday. Johnson joined the Gators this Fall as a graduate transfer after becoming a three-time ASUN Conference Player of the Year with Florida Gulf Coast.
