Lucas Magnaudet clinched both of Cal’s wins over the weekend, as the Golden Bears beat two ranked Pac-12 opponents.
BERKELEY – Lucas Magnaudet clinched a Pac-12 Conference win for the California men’s tennis team for the second straight day, as the Golden Bears defeated 74th-ranked Washington, 4-1, on Sunday at the Hellman Tennis Complex.
The senior beat Jim Hendrikx, 6-3, 7-5, at court-six singles to wrap up the victory.
Including a 4-1 win over No. 52 Oregon on Saturday, Cal improved to 6-6 (2-0 Pac-12) with the win. The Huskies fell to 6-7 (0-2).
