CARY. NC — The University of Maryland Women’s Tennis Team has wrapped up competition at the 2024 ITA All-American Championships in Cary, NC. Kallista Liu had a strong tournament showing, winning four straight singles matches to open the tournament.
“Kallista had an incredible run at the All-American championships. We’re very proud of the performances she put forth throughout the event and narrowly missed out on a qualifying spot in the Main Draw,” said Associate Head Coach Ruth Seaborne. “Both Danielle and Kallista faced some of the best competition in the country these past couple of days. I’m very encouraged by the level of tennis I’ve seen these two young women compete at and can’t wait to see them compete the rest of the fall.”
Danielle Hack represented the Terrapins for the first time in her career in the tournament, going 0-2 in singles play.
This was Liu’s first competition for the fall slate, going 4-1 overall.
