ROME, Ga. – Conley Raidt, Maeve Thornton, Elim Yan and Saray Yli-Piipari of the Tennessee women’s tennis team concluded action at the Rome Tennis Center Collegiate Classic on Sunday afternoon. The selected players participated in a round-robin tournament format, in which participants faced off without a bracket system.
The Lady Vols were dominant throughout the three-day competition, posting 17 total victories, 15 in singles and two in doubles.
Freshmen Raidt and Yan both notched five victories in singles wins and one in doubles on the weekend. Thornton wrapped up the tournament with three singles decisions and a doubles triumph, while Yli-Piipari posted two singles victories and a doubles win.
