CARY, N.C. – Virginia Tech’s Katie Andreini and Dariya Radulova went 1-1 on Saturday in the pre-qualifying rounds of the doubles draw in the ITA Women’s All-American Championships.
In their first match, the Hokies duo downed Ruxandra Schech and Lucia Quiterio of Charlotte, 8-6, to advance into the second round.
The Tech pair’s run came to an end in the later match, as Victoria Erechtchenko and Radka Buzkova of Colorado State earned an 8-4 result over Andreini and Radulova.
Virginia Tech will continue its fall season on Oct. 9, as select student-athletes compete in the Florence ITF event.
