TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Louisville men’s tennis team posted four wins on day one of the Alabama Four-In-The-Fall Invitational Friday.
The Cardinals won both of their doubles matches to start the day with Matthew Fung and Andre’ Steinbach prevailing against Alabama’s Enzo Aguiard and Roan Jones 7-6(2). David Mizrahi and Will Mayew also edged Tulane’s Charlie Barry and William Kesterson 7-5 to wrap up an unblemished day in doubles.
In singles action, Fung topped Aguiard 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 and Mizrahi defeated Kesterson 6-0, 6-2 to give the Cards two more wins on the day.
The tournament will continue with round of singles and doubles on Saturday.
