BERKELEY – With more rain expected Sunday, the Cal Winter Invitational has been canceled. Tournament officials had hoped to get one day of women’s tennis matches in on Sunday at the Hellman Tennis Complex and the Channing Tennis Courts, but now all three days of the annual event have been wiped out by bad weather.
The 12th-ranked Cal women’s tennis team returns to the courts next weekend, with the Golden Bears hosting UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 21 at 12 p.m. and hosting 10th-ranked Pepperdine on Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Hellman Tennis Complex.
