NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On day 2 of the June Stewart Invitation, doubles continued to bring it home for the Purdue women’s tennis team.
Sophomores Carmen Gallardo Guevara and Tara Katarina Milic logged the biggest win of the day by only allowing their opponent two sets. They closed the match 6-2.
Fellow sophomore Juana Larranaga also won a doubles match for the Boilermakers. Along with freshman Ashlie Wilson, Larranaga was able to close out the match 6-3
Larranaga also had a successful day on the singles court. The Argentinian international won both of her matches for the day. The first 6-1, 6-0 and the second 6-4, 6-4.
