LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The 21st-ranked Duke women’s tennis team closed the regular season on Sunday with a 4-0 road victory at Louisville, which was contested at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville, Ky.
With the win, the Blue Devils moved to 14-8 overall and 7-6 in the ACC. Louisville dipped to 4-18, 0-13.
How It Happened
- Duke came out with a hot start in doubles by taking courts two and three to clinch the doubles point and went ahead, 1-0.
- Emma Jackson and Shavit Kimchi collected a 6-1 victory over Jamilah Snells and Berta Miret of Louisville on court two.
- On court three, Iuliia Bryzgalova and Brianna Shvets posted a 6-1 win against Ibifuro Clement and Germany Davis.
- When the doubles point was clinched, Duke’s Katie Codd and Karolina Berankova were finishing their match as well.The Blue Devils posted a 6-3 win over Allie Gretkowski and Lika Peresypkina of the Cardinals.
- Kimchi put the second point on the board in singles as she posted a 6-1, 6-2 win over Lillian Mould on court two.
- Duke was able to get a third point on the board from Shvets, who collected a 6-1, 6-3 win over Miret.
- On court one, Jackson clinched the victory for the Blue Devils with a 6-2, 6-1 win against Snells.

- Shavit Kimchi notched her seventh ACC win this season and moved to 16-10 overall in her rookie campaign.
- Duke is now 3-4 in road matches this season.
