DURHAM – In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) tennis rankings that were released this week, the Duke women’s tennis team moved up to No. 14 nationally.
Duke currently features a 6-2 ledger and is coming off totaling a 4-0 victory over No. 13 UCLA in its last match.
The Blue Devils continue to feature four singles players in the latest ITA singles rankings — Katie Codd (#76), Shavit Kimchi (#80), Ellie Coleman (#81) and Brianna Shvets (#109).
Duke will face a pair of ranked opponents this weekend as the Blue Devils travel to the state of Florida to take on No. 25 Miami (2-2) and No. 33 Florida State (4-3). The match with the Hurricanes will start at 12 p.m., on Feb. 23 and then the Blue Devils and Seminoles will meet at 12 p.m., on Feb. 25.
