SAN DIEGO – The first half of the 2023-24 season came to an end for the California women’s tennis team Sunday, with Jessica Alsola capping a strong fall with an appearance in the consolation singles final of the ITA National Fall Championships and the Golden Bears also completing play in the Thunderbird Invitational in Tempe, Arizona.

The 47th-ranked Bear junior fell to Stanford’s 26th-ranked Connie Ma in the three-set final, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
