Speaking of being seeded at the Open, it is looking likely that Maxime Cressy will do just that. The American rises to No.33 in the rankings after claiming his maiden ATP title at Newport on Sunday. He’s up eight spots.
It’s a similar situation for Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo, who also claimed his maiden title, in Bastad. The 23-year-old climbs nine spots to No.30, while Bastad runner-up Sebastian Baez jumps two spots to a career-high 32.
